I have the honour to submit for the

signification of His Majesty's pleasure an Ordinance

intituled "An Ordinance to amend the Offences against the

Person Ordinance, 1865" and to enclose herewith the usual

report by the Attorney General thereon. As will be seen

from the Attorney General's report this legislation deals

to some extent with the question of 'Mui Tsai', and in

considering the question of strengthening the provisions

of the existing Female Domestic Service Ordinance, 1923, it

appeared advisable to clarify and amend the law relating to

Offences against the Person, in respect of minors.
